Hallmarking

I have a makers mark registered with the London Assey Office.  Currently I am making jewellery in silver with a weight of less than 7.78g, so it doesn't carry a hallmark.  There is only a legal requirement to mark items made partly or exclusively of sterling silver (excluding weight of stones set) if the weight exceeds this amount.
